My interest in the arts combined with a background in education place me in an excellent position for any writing or editorial work relating to literature, theatre and general arts. I have worked in Germany, Japan and Spain and have strong connections in Berlin. I spend time there every 4/5 weeks with the possibility of longer stays if work requires. Here I have connections with film makers, theatre makers and arts educators. Recent projects have included advisory work in schools and theatre history research. I am currently writing a book on the theatre in the late 1800s early 1900s and the transition from Music Hall to Variety with the focus on the buildings themselves as well as the acts and companies involved.
