During my time at SOLL Leisure I was given the opportunity to work in a variety of roles. From June-July 2012 I was assigned a temporary responsibility of Sales Manager to cover a portion of a colleague's maternity leave. Despite limited experience, I exceeded the assigned sales target in both months. In 2013 I was given a dual role of HR Assistant and Membership Administration Assistant. Reporting to two different line managers, I was entrusted to allocate time to each role as I saw appropriate.
HR Responsibilities:
• Collation of all company driver information including evidence of insurance and driver eligibility
• Requesting references for new employees and recording all feedback
• Processing and distributing employee contracts
• Maintenance of employee files and archiving as appropriate
Administration Responsibilities:
• Proof reading all new membership contracts, checking for any errors or omissions which could result in an invalid and unenforceable Contract
• Maintenance of membership spread sheets, such as accurate number of members per club and details of reasons for membership cancellation
• Liaison with Direct Debit collection company to amend Direct Debit amounts/dates
• Confirming cancellations/suspensions with members directly via phone/email
• Training new Sales Managers in the accurate administration of membership contracts and the rules regarding cancellation procedures
• Updating member databases
