I'm a student who is looking forward to going to University starting this September. I'm a really hard working individual, who is very interested in social work and collaborating with others. I'm very comfortable in striking up conversations with others as I try my best to discover the best in others in any given situation- especially under these circumstances when human connection is important in everyone's life more than ever.
Throughout my school life I have been really interested in English Language and Literature. As someone who moved to the UK without knowing the English language, I value the need for communication. Therefore, I immersed myself in activities that could aid my communication skills and open up my mind to the outside, foreign world. That is when I discovered my love for English and I stuck to it, refusing to give up even when the task facing me was challenging. As a result, I achieved a grade 9 (equivalent to an A**) in GCSE English Literature, and an A grade in A-level English Literature.
