Project: Promoted to deliver the transformation of the UK and Global customer facing, data and back office systems.
Role:
• Enabled the business to be more responsive to market changes and ensured that the business delivered the right customer value by becoming a trusted business change partner with the C-Suite to create a Lean Budgeting Portfolio Management approach to ensure effective prioritisation using data led decisions for their annual $80m Investment strategy.
• Increased customer satisfaction and a 3% increase in revenue on all products offered by LexisNexis by working with business sponsors for the UK businesses which enabled the prioritisation based upon measurable business benefits for the delivery of multiple updates to customer facing products.
• Reduced operating costs for the UK by $16m annually by migrating all the UK business customer facing platforms from old infrastructure.
• Prevented potential cloud infrastructure costs of $10m annually by replacing the core search engine for all LexisNexis products from MarkLogic to Solr.
• Decreased global cost by the central development of core services enabling savings in the wider business by sharing and re-use these components through standardization and economy of scale
• Increased customer value deployment frequency from 3 monthly to multiple times a day and also a reduced lead time from 3 monthly to 2 weekly through the implementation of Dev Ops best practice.
