Jonathan Frederick Turton is a photographer and multi-media producer that’s worked with some of the world’s biggest brands and creative agencies. Whether shooting campaign photography or producing documentary film, Jonathan has been noted for his emotive visuals and authentic storytelling.
In 2011 he started successful sub-culture magazine Halcyon, which lead to collaborations with esteemed publications such as Vice and Dazed and Confused magazine. Jonathan has since interviewed and photographed icons ranging from Sugar Ray Leonard to Laverne Cox; Andrea Pirlo to Wu Tang Clan.
Working out of New York and the North West of England, Jonathan’s specialities lie in subculture, sport, fashion and politics. His list of commercial clients includes Smirnoff, adidas, Nike and Planned Parenthood, whilst journalistic undertakings have covered a range of topics from the Stripper’s Strike in New York to Detroit’s housing crisis.
