• Managed & supported SCCM, InTune, Symantec, Citrix & Jamf management solutions for over 3000+ devices worldwide across multiple time zones. As well as packaging and maintaining over 30 unique applications. Using GPO's to enforce different company standards and regulations, monitoring and maintaining Bitlocker encryption & identifying risks to client devices.
• Responsible for administrating, supporting and managing these services in O365 (Exchange, InTune, Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams & Security Centre)
• Designed and executed the project to move over 2000 clients from Symantec on-prem to a Cloud only solution. Creating brand new firewall, network intrusion, application control & other policies for client & server devices.
• Responsible for all client device & application patch management. Implemented a vulnerability software manager for better reporting and the ability to create patches for applications discovered. This resulted in a 97.6% compliance rate throughout the business up from 73%.
• Implemented, designed and created a Cloud Management Gateway using Azure Virtual Machines for use with SCCM to allow more than 1800 devices to receive policy updates from the internet. As well as enabling the ability to deploy software from the internet, using a combination of SCCM and InTune.
• Fully implemented, designed and configured InTune for the business, creating multiple device policies, conditional access, encryption and launching to over 1000 mobile devices.
• Responsible for supporting and adding new applications for use with our SSO solution, Okta.
• Created, designed and implemented corporate images for multiple departments using SCCM and JAMF. Led the project to implement Autopilot for all new Windows devices. This reduced Windows 10 build time to less than 30 minutes.
• Utilized PKI with a CA to revise SCCM to use HTTPS and enforced communication encryption across 1500 devices at 9 distribution points worldwide.
• Oversaw computer hardware and software purchases, setting the company hardware & software requirements for the business through several different vendors and suppliers. Recently saving the business over £100,000, due to the revision of laptop models and peripherals.
• Directly supervised and fully trained one employee into the Desktop Engineering team, as well as being the escalation point in the EMEA region for the support technicians in the absence of the Worldwide Support Manager.
