Having gained a 1st class BA Hons in Interior Architecture, Peter went to work for Imagination Limited in London where he was responsible for
exhibitions and events for BT and Ford Motor Company.
In 1993 Peter joined Pile Probert Kelly as 3D Director to head up a new 3D Design Department. Whilst in this position he was responsible for a small team of designers and account managers. PPK serviced a wide range of blue chip clients including BT, Imperial War Museum, Ernst and Young, Nuclear Electric, 3M, BAA, Cunard and Visa. Projects included many exhibition stands both national and international, museum work, visitor centres and conference design.
In 1998 Peter went it alone, setting up Zed Design Limited. Zed Design was established as a vehicle to allow him to work on larger team projects with other agencies whilst retaining in house design and admin support. Projects included stands for BT, projects for Nike, NCR in the USA, a health spa in Portugal with Vincent and Gorbing Architects and an interactive
gallery for the Imperial War Museum celebrating 100 years of Submarines.
In 2001 PCI:Live were successful in obtaining the contract to design and build all the ‘A’ shows for Bentley Motors at International Motor Shows. Peter was the designer on the team and worked on all the stands around the world for six years. In 2004 Peter changed the name of the company to Peter Brooks Design Limited. He has continued to work on many and various projects, including a gallery for the London Jewish
Museum, retail concepts for Homebase and conference sets for BP, GSK, Thomson Reuters, Deutsche Bank and the FA to name but a few.
Recently he designed an exhibition ‘The House of Annie Lennox’ for the V & A Museum, was responsible for the design of an event to launch the new brand for EE and a Senior Leaders conference in Miami and London for GSK. Other clients last year included Disney, HP, Astra Zeneca, Airbnb, Danone, HSBC and BP.
