Hi, I am Dessie. I have recently received a distinction in my MSc Business Analysis and Consulting.
My most recent work was on the novel coronavirus pandemic, and whether lockdowns work as a strategy, and which of the spread measures help reducing the spread of the virus.
I have also successfully helped a couple of businesses improve their business strategy.
I am a mathematician, who loves data. I enjoy finding patterns and manipulate data to solve problems. I have primarily worked on Excel and SPSS, however I have learned to use PowerBI and Tableau for creating dashboards, data manipulation and more.
I can also create forecasting models, simulation models (on Simul8), risk assessment (event trees, decision trees, BBNs, fault trees), scenarios, and more.
I am very organised and work well towards deadlines. I communicate effectively, and work confidently on my own and great in a team as well.
