IT Project/Programme Manager & Scrum Master
Astra Zeneca.
Working within the HR division, I was responsible for delivering two parallel projects as part of the Learning Transformation programme:- Learning Analytics & Learning Technology Review.
Learning Analytics: Building on the new strategic Learning Ecosystem to deliver automated reporting & enhanced learning analytics to the business through the visualisation tool - MicroStrategy.
The project delivered single source access to key learning metrics across Saba, MindTools, Degreed, Percipio & Linkedin Learning; incorporating this with HR data from Workday.
In addition to my PM responsibilities for project governance, overall planning, reporting, RAID & Stakeholder management; I was also the Scrum Master, running the daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review & Sprint Retrospective meetings.
Adopting the Agile way of working enabled the project to deliver key business benefits through the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) quicker than a traditional waterfall approach.
Learning Tech Review (LTR): Supporting the delivery of the new Degreed/Xyleme Learning System, the objective of the LTR project was to introduce and manage a new technology review process of AZ's legacy learning systems with the objective of rationalising the overall environment.
This encompassed detailed analysis of ~20 learning systems to complete a FitGap assessment, to drive decisions to migrate, retain or decommission.
To manage the work, I adopted the Kanban approach using Jira for in-flight management of the project's scope.
