La Moulade is a digital creative studio created in partnership with Christian Louboutin (french luxury brand) in 2013, working
with Christian Louboutin and many other clients on building up their digital presence.
Project management:
- Building Christian Louboutin’s omnichannel digital presence to support the growth of online traffic and sales (c.2 million single visitors a month, from 2013 to 2017 Louboutin’s revenues went from c.€700 million to >€1bn, this fast sales growth was supported by increasing e-commerce conversion). Main projects included the full restructuration of the website in 2014 and in 2016, and the development and design of the first Louboutin’s mobile and in-store apps. Ongoing projects include bi-monthly home page updates, weekly newsletters and specific product range launches.
- Managing ressources for each project (coding and design skills required, software and technology needed, staff) while simultaneously monitoring and managing the advancement on up to 4 different projects with 5 to 10 man-team, using the Agile methodology (Scrum in particular).
- Being the central point of contact between the design team, the developers and the stakeholders. Reporting directly to Louboutin’s CEO, the head of e-commerce and Christian Louboutin, the designer himself, during weekly calls and regular formal meetings in Paris.
