Responsible for the systems and integration design at Doha New Port Project (NPP) which is located about 50Km west of Doha and handles containers, general cargo, bulk foodstuffs, livestock and offshore supply. The port operation consist of 26 systems and are connected to a main and recovery data centre.

Lusail City is a green field mixed use development located about 15Km north of Doha Qatar, and is about 38Km2. Seconded to Lusail Real Estate Development Company I was responsible for the design and project management of ELV projects (ITS, Security and Telecommunications) including integration to smart city and the infrastructure.
• Lusail City Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Detailed Design
Development, review and approval of multimodal ITS user requirements, scope of works, CONOP's, functional, detailed design and tender documents which included Traffic Management Centre and the ITS subsystems: ANPR, Automatic Incident Detection, Lane Control, Tunnel Systems, Dynamic Message Signs and traffic monitoring systems.
The detailed design included infrastructure, Power and Communications to support the ITS equipment design. The design was assessed for risks and QA/QC. The project was delivered on time and within budget and gained approval from the local Authority Ashghal.
• Lusail Smart City
Development of the project including gathering Client and Stakeholder requirements, defining strategies, high level and low level design in association with Ooredoo for each Smart City service and to meet the Qatar 2030 vision. Integration of smart city services into the Lusail command and control centre. Development of high level design requirements for the smart city operator control room and data centre.

Working with Qatar Rail and traffic signal suppliers to develop an interface between the train control system and the traffic signal controller for LRT traffic signal pre-emption
