I am a Strategy Director with ten years of experience (both agency and client side) across different subsets of marketing communications: brand, digital, retail, customer engagement/CRM and content.
I am constantly finding out more and more about how little I know, and how little I know about more and more. We’re in an industry that’s in constant flux, and with so much to learn, I believe planners – so often held up as “experts”– must ensure we remain students. I’m fascinated by how powerful brands at their best can be and love helping brands find ways of transcending their categories to play more influential roles in wider culture. I’m looking to find a home in a modern, progressive creative company, one that embraces diversity in all its forms and sees it as an important driver of creativity and innovation.

Developed four distinct model positioning's for Mini UK to help the brand overcome the perception that 'a Mini is a
Mini is a Mini'. Minis aren't all the same and neither are those who buy them, so I helped develop work to make the individual models brands in their own right - each with their own distinct identity and personality. One specific
example of this involved repositioning the Mini Countryman so people no longer saw the car as "just a big Mini" -
fit only for those living sedate, non-descript family lives - but a car for those who aspired to a more active lifestyle.

• Led the re-launch of Sky Living. Helped create a new brand identity and worked with commissioners to develop a
new content strategy for the channel. A move away from the condescending stuff of weddings, fashion and reality
TV shows, the rebrand and new content approach gave the channel a more modern, sophisticated feel enabling it to better connect with female audiences and reverse the long term decline in viewing figures.
• I also led creative strategy for a number of Sky's biggest programme brands. I helped reinvigorate audience
viewing for psychological drama Hannibal on Sky Living, helped breathe new life into family entertainment show
Got to Dance on Sky 1 and helped launch and sustain lots of other programme brands too - Yonderland in comedy,
Penny Dreadful and Fortitude in Drama, the Ryder Cup and Rugby World Cup in Sport.
