Key Responsibilities
• Developing/implementing the IT strategic roadmap over 12 and 24 months focused on a "cloud first"
approach to infrastructure where we will always aim to deliver any solution/system using private,
public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Vendor/partner selection as well as maintaining on-going relationships.
• Authoring IT system policies focused on ISO27001 and GDPR compliance.
• Performing on-going cybersecurity remediation.
• Mentoring, training and developing the team - PDPs, 1to1's, annual appraisals, TNA, QC of output.
• Reviewing/managing team KPIs and OLAs for BAU support.
• Ensure IT systems are properly maintained, backed up and supported.
• Procurement of equipment and consumables across all 3 offices.
• Occasional hands-on technical escalations of support incidents.
• Management of datacenter contracts and utilisation across multiple datacenters where we colocate
internal systems equipment.

Manager then my final role as Director of Technology. Here I led 7 FTE (2 in London, 5 in Macedonia) across the Managed Services and Infrastructure plus Network Operations team (circa 500 servers and 3000 workstations). Oversaw daily administration of the Green Fields cloud platform, technical projects, client on
boarding, cloud migrations and managed services. Direct reporting line to CEO.

• Won numerous industry awards - IT Europa Data Center solution of the year, CAN Enterprise UC
Solution of the year, CRN SMB Reseller of the year, Commsbusiness SMB Convergence solution of the year and European service provider of the year.
• Drove revenue and growth YoY from greenfield when I co-founded the business in 2005 to £3.5m
T/O and gross profit of £2.3m when the business was acquired by IT Lab in 2016.
• Proposed entry into the cloud market and designed/implemented a solution which was directly
attributable to a 40% uplift in revenues converting existing on premise clients to our cloud platform.
• Successfully converted 100 clients to our cloud platform which accounted for 1/3 of the entire
business' revenue stream.
• Life cycle managed the solution architecture, design and delivery to migrate a large international
client with over 50 onsite servers to our platform, used in a case study and which won an industry
recognised cloud award.
