2013 - 2015
job
project architect
At PTE.
I was an integral part of Workshop 3 who were tasked with project delivery. I worked on a number of projects ranging from 80 units to over 200, leading a variety of packages including the structural co-ordination of the project, leading on the external envelope details, and acting as project architect leading a team of 2/3 on schemes of 100 units plus. This involved working closely with our contractor client, co-ordinating with the consultant team and checking sub-contractor's drawings. As part of this I was involved heavily with ensuring the project was properly coordinated within PTE, overseeing more junior members of the team and checking their work. I was also on the CAD working group helping develop CAD standards in order to fully realise the productivity gains available. This also involved advising on the CAD and file set-up for projects.
