My Experience
The first agency was a global, full service media agency called Mullen Lowe Profero. They are a huge agency with 90 offices across the globe, dabbling in everything from TV advertising to performance marketing. This is where I started my career and learned the basics of Paid Media hard and fast. I worked primarily on the Hunter Boots account but also spent considerable time working with Amazon Payments, Eurosport and Fage, developing my Paid Search ability in retail, finance, leisure and FMCG, winning brands an unfair share of attention.
I moved to a smaller but well established agency named MediaVision Interactive. This is where I truly developed my skills and refined my approach. I much preferred working at a smaller agency as I was able to work directly with the CEO and heads of departments to put forward my ideas and develop integrated strategies for our clients. Even though MediaVision is a smaller agency, we boasted an impressive roster of high street and competitor brands.
After two years at MediaVision I had been promoted twice and was running the Paid Media department, a team of 5 with 15 brands under our belt.
My role was split between account management and the management of my team. I was responsible for strategy development and delivery on forecast for Tier 1, award winning accounts in high street fashion, travel and leisure, finance and real estate that spent in the region of £50,000 to £100,000 per month.
Day to day activities on the account management side included strategy development and presentation, forecasting, implementation, budget management and optimisation through to reporting and analysis to bring the process full circle.
And Now…
I work as a solo practitioner, having abandoned the stability of a regular pay check in search of freedom, the freedom to work with my own clients and run their accounts end to end, in partnership with them. I want to help you get from A to B whether you’re an established brand or a new entrant to your market.
