I'm offering
If you look up the definition of passion, you’ll find ‘strong and barely controllable emotion.’
For the last 14 years I’ve been working on the ‘barely controllable’ part in everything I do.
Shaping and grounding that raw energy I feel into something beautiful and original, no matter the project, is my constant goal. Tailoring that
passion to each client and challenging those clients to look at things a little differently is where my ambition always lies.
My early years in branding and packaging then led to events and now advertising. In this most recent world, I’ve progressed to managing and leading design teams on global campaigns and pitches for clients big and small. I’m really interested in understanding how each individual’s skills compliment and combine to
create the best work possible.
I cannot leave creation at my desk though, I have to be making. Starting graffiti in 1998, I travelled all around Italy, Europe and NYC, resulting in solo and collaborative exhibitions around the world. This path led me to honing
my style as an abstract calligrapher around 8 years ago, which is where it’s been ever since. Street photography has also always been a strong pull; my shots capturing a combination of dramatic frame composition and candid situation.
Separating out my art and my design is sometimes hard. They influence and inform both; disciplines from one enhancing the other. I search for the right ingredients, from whichever pot, that will make something stand out.
Being part of the concept process is a must for me. In order to help a team to create the perfect visual execution, I need to get under the skin of the project from the very start. I make friends with the strategists, I get to know the account team. They are my
access to the client’s vision. I truly believe collaboration is as important as solo work, especially at the early stages of a brief.
I strongly believe that a great culture in a work environment is as important as proper professionalism. I thrive off the strong relationships I build. And when I thrive, my work does too.
