I'm offering
I have 17 years of experience supporting founders and entrepreneurs, have started 4 businesses from the ground up, restructured two companies, implemented cultures, values, frameworks, and processes. I have a degree in Psychology and a Transformational Coaching Diploma. I love creating new businesses, brands, and strategies for success.
I started my first business, an artist management and events company, in 2011 after four years in the music industry. I split my time between London, Miami and Ibiza, donating some of my time to charity Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, where I worked on the first ever DJ event at the House of Commons, headlined by Fatboy Slim!
Alongside this, I set up brand consultancy The Clifton Studio in 2012 with the former Director of Merchandising for QVC. This supported the growth of brands like Lulu Guinness and Elle Jewellery.
I took this knowledge to ecommerce consultancy Practicology in 2015 where I continued to build the founder’s personal brand and launched, marketed and edited the book 100 Practical Ways To Improve Customer Experience. I also aligned operations ahead of the sale of the business in 2018, by which time I was already poised to take on the founder’s new vision as my first client under The Personal Consultancy: to start three new businesses: brand Martin Newman, The Customer First Group and Customer Service Action.
I studied hard behind the scenes and in 2018 achieved a first-class BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I then went on become an accredited transformational coach in 2019. Prior to this I studied PR and Marketing at The Chartered Institute of Marketing and have a qualification in Finance for Non-Financial Managers. I am also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society.
