COVID-19 & Wealth Inequality Visualisation
Using open data sources consisting of geo-demographic risk indexes for COVID-19 generated through aggregation of ONS data, I searched for correlation and trends between the various risk indexes and the confirmed cases of COVID-19 by electoral ward over a period of five weeks. I determined that risk indexes associated with affluence were strong predictors of regional COVID-19 outbreaks. I created visualisations of this insight in the form of maps, boxplot graphs, and tables.
