Care worker in the Community
Peace of Mind.
In August 2007, I took on a part time job as a care worker in the local community. I did this for several reasons, a few being that, as our family had relocated for my husband's career from Scotland to England, I wanted to get involved with the community. I wanted to keep my skills up and gained my NVQ Level 2 in Care, to allow me to be occupationally competent. This was a great opportunity to help the community and my role involved helping others through palliative care.
