Often described as an entrepreneur, I have owned and developed multiple projects (mainly live management conferences under the Benchmark for Business banner) in the U.K., Netherlands and the U.A.E. They featured many of the world's most revered management thinkers, and attracted senior executives and leaders from the full spectrum of industry sectors.
Over the last twenty years these events were (and still are) recognised as 'world-class'; from the quality of the speakers' content to the delegate experience on the day. Since 2018 we have staged these events at London's Caledonian Club.
I have been responsible for the conceptual development, marketing and project management of each project, leading a small team of developers and event organisers.
In a previous life I trained as a professional tea taster for one of the U.K.'s leading tea importers and held commodity buying and trading roles in Sri Lanka, India, Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mauritius.
