I've worked with people from a variety of backgrounds to help them identify key moments and themes in their life and tell their unique story. I enjoy helping people to excavate their life history and see shapes, patterns, and the people who have influenced them. It's a little bit like being a detective, psychiatrist, and priest.
My thirty years working as a journalist have taught me many valuable skills: interviewing, listening, patience, writing clearly and concisely, identifying what the story is, and knowing where to find the right information.
As well as ghost writing and journalism, I've written numerous books, including, biographies of Rembrandt and Mother Teresa, two memoirs, a novel, and the story of London's Spanish restaurants.
