Role:Devised and implemented a roadmap of Digital Marketing focused ideas which met the clients business objectives (using a proven strategic framework), using data and insight to devise and build multi-channel customer journeys (email, app, SMS, website, social) which were implemented using the Adobe Experience Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, liasing with Solution Architects, Insight Consultants, Project Managers and Campaign Delivery consultants to deliver the recommendations. This involved outstanding data planning skills, pro-actively coming up with new ideas to increase a client's sales through insight driven digital marketing recommendations and understanding what activity and tests were/were not working, working on-site at clients offices as required, leading client workshops, developing, owned and led strong client relationships with my portfolio of clients and was seen as a trusted partner (Skipton Building Society, Greene King, Pizza Hut Delivery, Honda, RS Components, Rank and the PUIG brands - Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier and Nina Ricci). My role, as a client leader was wide ranging and varied and included operating at all levels, including Board Level, identifying the business drivers for each client and recommending strategies which would drive sales and profit growth, acting as a sounding board for owners and directors of my client portfolio, understanding the objectives of each client then defined the strategy and tactics to meet these objectives, increasing sales and profits for clients (acquisition and retention) through integrated CRM campaigns (direct mail and email) using best-practice techniques, delivering actionable insight through the review of campaign and ad-hoc activity, adding value to my clients businesses by ensuring recommendations could be executed, providing clear and concise recommendations at client meetings when reviewing business and campaign performance. This was across all marketing disciplines (acquisition and retention), sales channels (retail, on-line and mail order) and contact methods (email, mail, telephone). I ensured each business had targets for each of its Key Performance Indicators. I delivered robust tools for sales forecasting and subsequently tracking success and understood the lifetime value of customers for the different clients, ensuring they made the right investment decisions to grow their businesses (based upon evidence).
