I'm offering
As an experienced VA, there are few tasks I haven't tackled! Basically, if you need help with it I can do it - or know someone who can!
I have a wide range of skills which I am happy to use to support you.
I have a passion for virtual software which in this day and age can be a great help in managing your business.
As to me personally, family is important to me. I love my choir - and am missing them - and I am an elephant nut!

unknown.
I run my business as a virtual assistant or freelance PA for small businesses and start-
ups. I have worked for a variety of organisations in several roles: For example, I provide
multi-faceted support for a CEO of 2 Eco-friendly companies. Some of the tasks this has
involved are costing and planning overseas travel, sourcing gifts for client contacts,
organising large scale mailshots by sourcing suppliers and organising dispatch.
• I have also provided financial management, bookkeeping and credit control for a
marketing and publishing client and client service management for a high-end technical
client. I also work for a physiotherapist an estate agent and a video editor.
• I handle diary management, making travel arrangements both within the UK and Internationally.
• I carry out standard office tasks such as bookkeeping, credit control, transcription and document preparation.
• I help in recruiting both permanent and contract staff and have experience in the day-
to-day management of staff including ensuring that client priorities are met. I am happy to take on all administrative and business support tasks to suit the client.

job
Office and Customer Service Manager
Wordtracker.
My role was very eclectic as is often the case when you work for a small company. I was
originally employed as Customer Services manager but over the last 5 years that role
has developed. When I left I ran our customer service team which has now grown to 3
people.
• I added additional responsibilities over time. I had overall responsibility for Office
Management. This included financial management using Sage as I was responsible for
cash flow management and paying all suppliers invoices.
I had HR responsibility including Payroll management. As part of this I worked with our
HR consultants to agree new contracts with all staff, which comply with current
legislation. I have also been involved in resolving disputes with staff and other
disciplinary issues
• I was responsible for general office administration and facilities management. This was
a wide-ranging brief and comprises anything that needs to be done from buying the milk, to arrange insurance policies and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Scott plc.
I led a team of 8 staff, handling advertising sales and subscriptions management for this
publishing company, dealing with over 61,000 advertisers and 600 titles a year. As well as heading the company's core customer-facing operation, I had substantial HR
responsibilities including recruitment, training and disciplinary processes. Beginning as
a trainee advertising sales executive, I progressed from telephone sales to negotiating
directly with major clients and launching new titles. As Sales Manager I was responsible
for advertising sales across all titles including Floodlight, the adult education guide, and many other well-known publications in the healthcare, leisure and educational sectors.
