Oakbrook is a fintech changing lending for the better. I joined the senior leadership team at Oakbrook to create a new proposition that customers love and would double the size of the business. To deliver this I have
built a new cross-functional team from scratch to:
● Research and design the value proposition from Pains, Gains and Jobs
● Ideate and test with our target audiences
● Build prototypes to further validate the concepts
● Create service blueprint of the MVP
● Develop a new brand that would support the transition from single to multi product and re-position
the business to support a more diverse range of customers.
In summer 2019 the board approved a further £8m investment to further develop the new proposition and the re-build the underlying loan management technology to support it, with a target revenue of £700m.

educational children's magazines and complemented this with titles we licenced such as Bob the Builder and Teletubbies. In 2001 we sold out to a competitor.

publishers which we localised and supplemented with new local content.
● Our first magazine was called Teach me Mummy, it became a bestseller where we needed to re-print
the first issue, we then re-launched it twice before we sold it and it is still published today.
● I negotiated the distribution deals with the local suppliers to ensure a balance between coverage and profitable terms.
