I study Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh. Alongside my studies, I have been employed on two previous occasions as a Media Subtitling Editor by two different departments of my university. These positions have enabled me to develop my captioning, subtitling, and transcribing skills to a high standard, as well as to improve other skills including attention to detail, communication, time management, and the ability to balance work with my studies. I have also received professional subtitling training prior to starting my first job.
I am bilingual in German and English and have some experience (from helping friends and acquaintances) in translating between these languages and proofreading in both languages. I am hard-working and reliable, and appreciate a challenge.
