I'm offering
Having mainly worked as a PA throughout my life, and for a broad range of companies, my experience of the working practices and cultures of different geographical regions and both the private and public sector is extensive. I have accumulated strong skills through dealing with corporate clients at high level, members of government, among many others. Upon completion of my Film Studies with English Literature degree as a mature student in 2006, I gained transferable skills which only enhanced my abilities further. So whilst I am confident in my PA, administrative, and secretarial abilities, and have excellent people skills, I have found my true passion to be in writing, editing and proofreading; I have completed a novel and written various blog posts, short stories and poems. I have also worked as an editor and proofreader on a voluntary basis. As a person I am honest and positive in my approach.

Senior School Office Secretary
Highgate School.
In my role at Highgate School I implemented and administrated the sanctions and rewards functions for the Senior School, whilst facilitating the smooth running of the behavioural system. I organised ad hoc whole school mail outs, maintained the school filing system both online and paper-based, administrated parents evenings and similar. I managed the schedule of several Heads of Departments within the school and carried out various duties as required. On completing my time at the school, the administrative function was running more smoothly and effectively due to the ideas for streamlining processes that I brought to the position, and this was relayed to the Bursar by Senior Staff. I was informed by the Bursar that they would welcome me back should I seek permanent employment again at a future date.

Programme Administrator & PA
South East England Partnership Board.
As Programme Administrator I coordinated and administrated the DaSTS (Delivering a Sustainable Transport System) project. I worked with the Planning Manager to ensure the project for the South East of England met its deadlines and adhered to quality requirements. The DaSTS system looked at improving transport systems across the South East of England by 2016. As part of this role, I was responsible for producing and distributing paperwork related to internal and external project meetings (to include government, local authorities TfL, and DfT), attending these meetings and taking minutes, following up actions and reporting updates to TfL and DfT as appropriate. I kept all databases and the project spreadsheet updated and ensured all filing systems relating to the project were ready for audit. As PA to the Planning Manager I organised his diary and appointments.
Prior to this role, whilst at SEEPB, I worked as Regional Housing and Regeneration Co-ordinator alongside managing a reception area and undertaking various secretarial and PA tasks as required. I was responsible for the co-ordination of diaries, travel arrangements, and production of papers and agendas. Having worked for the Board previously in its capacity as SEERA, my strengths suitability to the role were known here and utilised. I left the Board due to them being dissolved by Government.
