I am an experienced Project Manager that specialises in fit out and refurbishment projects. What helps me stand out from the crowd is I have worked for smaller shop fitting contractors where my job description involved carrying out all elements of work including estimating and Quantity Surveying, to Tier 1 contractors where I have learned the best practice of project managing and expanded my knowledge on the importance of client relations for repeat business.

List of responsibilities I can undertake
- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
- Leading a team of five Project Managers
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
- Procure / agree the services of contractors /subcontractors for the construction project
- Measure and value the work completed on site
- Pay subcontractors based on agreed terms and re-measures where required.
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals; site managers, quantity surveyors, specialist
trades etc - Select and/or source construction materials
- Oversee the team required and plan for agency labour where needed
- Produce Programmes of work on either the Microsoft Project or ASTA power project
- Organising and managing nominated/incumbent contractors
- Interpret drawings and undertake material take-off's
- Compile all H&S documentation for each project
- Carry out value engineering exercises in line with client's budget requirements.
- Performed regular site observations to provide direction for all general contractor personnel.
- Oversee and manage the entire project keeping communication channels open with all construction
management personnel.
- Manage the prompt rectification of any defects post completion in the stipulated period.
- Provide Status Report's to the Managing Director
- Conduct routine quality audits to ensure that work is progressed as per the specifications and initiate
corrective actions if required. Guide and direct third-party inspectors through project construction,
commissioning and closeout.
- Avoid construction delays by efficiently following through with all site inspections in a timely manner.
- Arrange and promote relevant safety training for continued education for all site operatives.
- Settling final accounts on individual project
- Carrying out master programming on projects
- Cash flow forecasting
- Compiling bill of quantities and price up projects
- Distribution of labour to all the project management team
- Leading a team of five project managers
- Undertaking multiple projects at any one time
