Outline
Within Whole Vehicle Quality, I use understanding of technical information and design specifications to
develop robust test plans to deliver Infotainment and Connected Car validation. This is across the entirety of Bentley's product portfolio in preparation for customer release.
Key Responsibilities
● Work cross functionally with development leads to understand technical and functional
specifications for software, hardware and UX/UI for upcoming projects
● Lead in defining, reviewing and agreeing validation criteria with stakeholders
● Understanding development software release plans and develop agile update, test and review
strategies to support system development
● Understand functional content and bug fixes in upcoming software releases and support smoke
and regression tests on release
● Create and share test cases with test stations globally, continue to lead and support testing
activities during development life cycle, internally and with partners globally
● Feedback, monitor and review bugs/issues seen during test loops with as part of cross functional
working groups
● Report issues using standardised reporting criteria using approved VW group bug ticket system
(Jira equivalent)
● Use test data to support decision making at critical path gateways, cross functionally, up to board
and director level
● Feed in functional and UX/UI specifications for future projects
