I grew up in a family that is in the hospitality line, and that's where my love for hotels comes from.
I have grown up seeing guest arguing at the reception, my mother overseeing linen inventories and my father calling himself a Doctor in F&B which simply implies to a Director in F&B ops or someone who loves anything to do with food. And not to forget, sampling different types of foods while hosting events at our own resort.
After my dad, I overlooked hotel operations with key departments like revenue, sales and accounts under my control/supervision. I have enjoyed every single day at work. Theres not a single day I don't like what I am doing. I remember saying - " the day I don't feel like, I just don't go to work", but trust me that is a rare situation.
My passion backed by the relevant technical and professional knowledge makes me want to help passionate hoteliers all around the globe, to bring out the best in them and their hotel businesses.
So here I am, doing what I love best - Hotels. Food. Travel. Hospitality.
Besides working with hotels, I am a fitness enthusiast, like treating myself to small luxuries occassionally, and love being in the company of nice people.

• Responsible for day to day operations of a 53 rooms beachfront property with key re-
sponsibility of rooms division, food and beverage operations, contracting for room
sales and financial control.
• To ensure smooth operations and inter departmental coordination on a daily basis.
• To operate as a one point contact for all customer service issues and timely resolution.
• Regularly inspecting hotel rooms, public areas, building exteriors, kitchen areas, park-
ing areas, swimming pools, beach lawns, conference rooms and all other hotel areas.
• To arrange for regular refurbishments and aesthetic re-arrangements to ensure that
the hotel looks welcoming and engaging at all times.
• Interacting with wedding couples, group clients looking for venues to host their events,
and helping them finalise their arrangements.
• Preparation of function details before weddings, meetings, conferences and events, so
that the required departments are provided with all the necessary information in order to organise the event in line with clients expectations.
• Constantly reviewing hotel offers and its performance, in order to introduce new offers
and discontinue the ones that are not helping increase sales or promote business.
• Handling on-site renovations, right from coordinating with the Architect and following
up with the contractors on site, procuring and finalising quotations so as to ensure that the best material is purchased at the best price.
• To oversee F&B operations in coordination with the F&B manager/ supervisor, to en-
sure that customer expectations are met, and to make sure that the revenue is being
maximised.
• To ensure that F&B specials are regularly planned in coordination with the chef and F&B manager, as this helps the hotel to showcase its new offerings.
• To ensure that the right stock levels are maintained in line with the hotel occupancy, so
that the funds are not unnecessarily blocked in inventory.
• Preparing the annual budget in line with the hotels annual business plan and to set
clear cut directions to all departments.
• Replying to appreciative and critical reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor and Google.
• Providing clear leadership and direction to the hotel team on a daily basis.
• Planning and executing expansion and diversification plans of the company.
• Coordinating with the auditors and financial advisors at regular intervals, to ensure
that the regular checks are implemented in order to keep misappropriation, pilferage or frauds under control.
• To consider means of earning additional income like starting membership programs,
food deliveries, gift cards and the like.
• Actively identifying areas where processes and systems can be improved to ensure
