trained and graduated from university with a BSc (Hons) in quantity surveying and have been working in the UK construction industry every since I graduated in 2012. I have worked closely with major contractors and various client organisations on a wide variety of projects, including water treatment facilities, highways and road projects, railway infrastructure works, energy facilities, residential schemes and commercial developments.
I am have previously worked as a quantity surveyor both on site and within a client organisation and performed the following:
Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
Coordination of work effort
Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues
Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
Producing Construction Programmes (P6 / MS Project / Asta)
