From the west coast of Ireland, Hugh came to the UK to gain a degree in Graphic Design and Communications at Central St Martin’s. He began his career in design agencies working at Cartlidge Levene for some years, a leader in modern contemporary British design. Hugh then moved to work in design that rubbed shoulders with advertising as the head of design at Fallon where he worked on branding projects for BBC Radio, Sony, Tate Modern and Orange. Hugh joined AMV BBDO in 2011 and developed the agency’s existing branding and design capabilities. In 2016, Hugh was appointed Head of Integrated Design at Crispin Porter & Bogusky London. In 2018 Hugh joined Grey London and works with a broad spectrum of clients, creating identity and visual language across all points of communication.
