I am a mature student and Sheffield Hallam studying Business Analytics. After 15 years in the hospitality industry, I finally realized what I wanted to be when I grew up! After being made redundant from my managerial position I decided there would be no better time to go chase my dream than now. So here I am, trying to establish myself as a Business Analyst but due to my health and the current pandemic, I am unable to leave the house so I am hoping to be a successful freelancer and build my own portfolio of projects and contracts.
During my studies, I have worked on many projects for a number of clients, including local and national businesses.
I have also attained a Microsoft Excel Expert certification.
As an avid lover of maths and numbers, I love nothing more than looking at data and seeing what it wants to show and how it can be interpreted.

They wanted a business idea that would generate steady income all year round. Lots of research, planning, and analysis was needed to establish what ideas were viable and what was not, as well as the implications to the current business and staffing that would be as a result of the new venture we put forward.
