Senior Business Operations Analyst
Virgin Money.
Responsible for system development and business process related solutions. Working on FCA led changes (i.e. suppress fees for cardholders in Persistent Debt), EBA regulatory changes (i.e. PSD2) and MasterCardScheme bulletins. My span of responsibility for projects that i work on are helping to define needs, determining a strategy and developing a plan/ proposal for delivery. I'd also work with various internal teams (i.e. test teams) and provide accurate and timely technical advice, information and assistance. In addition, I've worked on the migration of 500,000 customers on to a new platform translating business requirements into technical specification. This was a TSYS to TSYS platform migration. I have recently worked on a PSD2 mandate around Strong Customer Authentication. Some of my responsibilities on this project was creating user stories, finding a solution to enable Virgin Money to achieve compliance with the mandate, working with the test team to create test scripts and implementation planning. Currently, I'm working on a FISERV to TSYS migration where some of my responsibilities are ensuring the mapping of Digital Wallet (i.e. Apple Pay & Google Pay) tokens are done safely with no impact to the customer.
Some of my other responsibilities are:
- Responsible for TSYS options management, product configuration and product setup for both Credit and Debit
- TS2 Application Owner
- Issue management responsibilities for TSYS
- Requirements gathering
- Technical lead on projects providing oversight, co-ordination while often acting as test manager and operational change manager. Freeze Card was a project to allow Virgin Money customers the ability to
"freeze" spending and other activities on their card via the Credit Card App
