My experience is primarily in food and GM retail packaging with nearly 10 years proven track record on all the Accounts I have managed at Account Director level. I have worked on site and remotely on 3 of the major U.K. retailers and in more recent years I’ve been managing US Accounts primarily remotely but in addition this has included extended travel too so I have a lot of experience with managing client relationships in this manner too.
I have a great track record with continued relationships with all of my former clients and this has proven to support growing and regaining Accounts when opportunities arise.
I have successfully managed teams of between 5-15 people based in different locations too. These teams would be a mix of at the clients offices and also in studio environments. In addition to managing teams I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves and managing projects too alongside, business development, planning and budget management.

When JPG won the Staples Account in August 2018 I travelled to Boston, MA for Two, 3 month stints to start the Account from scratch. The Contract sees JPG delivering all of its services from across the group including, Structural packaging, Design, Artwork Production, Workflow tool and translations.
• Recruiting and training the onsite team
◦ x 4 Project Managers / x 1 Account Manager / x 1 Art Director / x 1 Creative Account Manager
• Facilitating the implementation of the workflow tool and working with the Opal team to scope the client and project management requirements over 3 phases
• Supporting the structural arm (YFY) to gain knowledge of structural packaging strategy and requirements of Staples
• Working with the client to gain information on their planned activity and creating a planning document to feed into the JPG business to plan capacity
• Working with the new Design division within the JPG group (Contrast) to gain information on first in series workload. Also seeking out opportunities for this to grow outside of first in series
• Working with our translation partner to create a process for translations requirements
• Building the monthly invoicing process to ensure all divisions feed into this to enable JPG to manage the overall budget against the statement of work
• Working with the offsite production team in Hong Kong (JPG) to build processes and brand guidelines against the standard lead times
• Navigating all IT requirements for the onsite team set up and creating a new starter requirement process covering both JPG and Staples requirements
• Alongside the initial implementation we delivered a fast track project of 600+ skus with Design and Production requirements
Once the initial set up was complete JPG extended my contract to continue Account Directing the team from head office in the UK with regular travel to the US for training and quarterly review meetings. Continuing to work with all the different work streams across multiple timezones. Scoping and planning for Staples Canada repackaging project.
