I have a diverse background in digital marketing which allows me to bring experience, open-mindness and flexibility to any role.
1. Digital Project Management:
I project managed the creation and delivery of advertising display banners for major brands such as Rolex (which included the trafficking of campaigns), Dyson, Nespresso and Bayer.
I worked in high pressure situations delivering multiple creatives across multiple countries and in over 7 languages. I was involved in managing the transcreation process with the linguists, the creative process with both designers and developers, and the client in delivering these campaigns. On one occasion, for example, I was required to deliver over 800 banners in 7 languages within 3 days.
2. Content:
I have created and implemented content ideas across multiple social media platforms increasing both followers and engagement numbers for a fitness facility in Kent, as well as while working on the South African productions of MasterChef and Big Brother. I have been responsible for writing blog content, creating and editing short-form videos and designing collateral in Canva. I built brand partnerships for a body transformation challenge, as well creating sales channels through which to sell the offering to the public.
3. Display:
I have both sold and planned across display media, from standard placements to rich media, mobile, and apps.
I was instrumental in coming up with an iFrame banner solution for my insurance client, whereby users could fill in their details directly on the banner and the data would redirect through to their call centre API.
I worked predominately within the DoubleClick system.
What I love about Display: The creativity of solutions that banners can offer, as well as their influential role in driving search results.
4. PPC & SEO:
I have created and managed Google AdWord campaigns from start to finish. My experience covers creating keyword lists, optimising campaigns, and managing tracking codes.
In terms of SEO I have created metatags, keyword lists, and been involved in backlink development.
I have experience using AdWords reporting as well as Google Analytics.
What I love about PPC: The ability to create maximum reach within tight budgets and the targeting capabilities are so exciting.
5. Multi-Channel Sponsorship:
I worked as the digital lead on the following productions: Masterchef SA, Big Brother Africa, Idols SA.
The role involved creating and managing digital solutions for the sponsors of the show which would tie into their TV and productions placements. I was also responsible for creating digital content solutions that would stand alone outside of the production, for example behind-the-scenes, TV-to-app competitions, social media engagement etc.
What I love about Multi-Channel: The strategic thinking to create unique solutions for clients and bringing the strengths of multiple platforms together to create engaging user experiences while maintaining ROI.
My strongest skill is in Account Management as I am extremely strong in creating, managing, and growing client relationships. I have also worked across many sectors such as FMCG, travel, retail, fitness and financial services, which has enabled me to have a flexible approach to client briefs and a greater responsiveness to their needs.
I love to get stuck into my work and I am always eager to expand beyond my job description wherever required. I am a great team player with strong interpersonal skills.
