As Head of HR, I am also responsible for general affairs, compliance and Health and Safety. Key responsibilities include:
• Managed a merger of 3 Japanese container shipping companies, Headed up the UK business division.
• Managed £6 million redundancy budget attached to the merger.
• Lead negotiations, resolving TUPE issues, influenced redundancy packages, the company paid an enhance package of 2.5 weeks salary for every full year worked for the company, this included also the securing of an outplacement provider to support employees.
• Organised Employee Liability Data (ELI data) - this included the correlation of all data of employee within the 3 legacy companies to ensure that all terms and conditions transferred as required as part of the Transfer of undertakings provision.
• Managed recruitment (£45k) and Training budgets (16k) for the UK Agency.
• Constructed and implemented new electronic Personnel File system, this was done within the G-Suite package.
• Planned, designed and organised Compliance and Health and Safety procedures.
• Developed and designed HR Mission Statement for Europe and Africa, "Partnering the business to deliver operational and strategic objectives by creating a centre of excellence; implementing best practice, promoting innovation and driving a culture of high performance and engagement throughout the workforce, thereby making our organisation an employer of choice".
• Collaborated with European and African HR colleagues to construct Job Grading/pay structure and Succession Planning implementation.
• Programmed and planned organisational restructure, using a simple timeline and action plan delegating roles and responsibilities to my team, this included managing the structures within 3 sites to mirror each other with the centralisation of certain departments.
• Developed corporate policies, processes and procedures.
• Controlled PSL negotiations with external service providers.

• Drove forward the process to ensure compliance in preparation for Brexit.
