Skills
I'm offering
I am a self-taught full stack developer and University of Oxford graduate (Biological Sciences).
My backend skills lie in ASP.NET (including Entity Framework, MVC and Web API 2) and SQL Server, and my frontend skills in Javascript (including Vue JS, React and JQuery), HTML and SASS/CSS. I also have CMS experience in Umbraco, and build and maintain Shopify sites as a part of my current role using Liquid in addition to the aforementioned frontend technologies.
I have worked on a wide array of different web projects, both individually and as part of a team. This has included building APIs, webhooks, database management interfaces and various apps for internal company use, as well as standard client websites/ e-commerce stores.
In my current role, I single-handedly designed and built a data warehousing system which integrates the various data sources used by the company to manage and monitor its clients' e-commerce operations (Shopify, ClickUp, HubSpot, Google/ Facebook Ads etc.) for use in Microsoft Power BI reporting. The bulk of this system was built using C# (in ASP.NET), with a SQL Server database to store client data that are unavailable elsewhere. I also created a user-friendly management interface using MVC, which enables staff to perform create, read and update actions on this database without any knowledge of SQL or the underlying database design. In addition to this, I set up source control for the project in Microsoft's Azure DevOps, as well as continuous integration/ deployment for the system's back end, which is hosted on the Azure App Service.
