I was Europe's most senior technical authority and provided technical direction over 4 Agile teams. This was a diverse role all about 'getting stuff done' and unblocking teams. job
PPC Automation Specialist
Captivati.
Captivati is an Internet marketing company focussing on lead generation within the home improvement space and also own a network of price comparison sites. As well as being a media buyer, I headed up a research project to automate profitable traffic acquisition. It was fascinating project that took me deep into Google AdWords and MS Bing APIs.
A 'digital-nomad' style culture allowed me the luxury of working in 4 countries. Responsible for over $50K profitable monthly ad buying with strong commission-based incentives. Full Stack development of ClickSteer - a research project in RabbitMQ, ASP.Net MVC, C#, JQuery, Entity Framework 6 and SQL Server for doing data analysis across search performance data. Invented many innovative algorithms around semi-automated profitable ad-buying. The environment was entrepreneurial - we were a team of 12 highly motivated individuals working globally on commission-only basis to drive more traffic though a mix of traditional SEM skills and experimental data analysis.

2011 - 2013
job
Senior Security developer
BNP Paribas.
I was subcontracted through HP Fortify to work alongside a Java and C++ developer to deliver the .Net implementation. The banking environment has 100s of pre-existing applications for which we developed a standards based SSO solution for smart clients, services and web apps. This required a deep dive into WCF and utilization of the WIF stack to handcraft SAML messages. I developed a security library that other .Net developers in the bank could plug into their code to leverage the centralized authentication solution.
This role demanded a deep understanding of ADFS and several custom attribute LDAP store providers had to be developed. Other advanced subjects such as delegated authentication was also in play.
My responsibility involved analysis, best practice security recommendations, team management, development, testing and hand holding teams with the integration effort.
