For the past 11 years I have been working within the exhibitions and events industry and in my most recent long term position as Key Account Manager for Skyline Whitespace I managed the company’s highest profile clients whilst being motivated by a target based sales structure. Within this position I managed teams of project managers, suppliers and build crews to deliver large scale exhibitions and experiential activations.

Since 2018 I have been working as a freelance account / project manager. I have enclosed details of my most recent positions below but would be happy to provide further information and a full work history.

Freelance Account / Production Manger June 2018 – Present

Senior freelance professional working with creative agencies to deliver high budget events and exhibitions stands. Previous projects include:
-Momentum Worldwide - Microsoft Exhibition stand
-Momentum Worldwide - Egyptian Tourism Exhibition stand £1.5m budget
-Dbear - Longer term position involving business & client development and the delivery of several large scale pharmaceutical exhibition stands.
-PICO Bangkok - Business & client development and the delivery of exhibition stands within the Asian market,


Skyline Whitespace – Key Account Manager May 13 – June 2018

Maintained and expanded the company’s highest profile clientele, and have personally exceeded an annual target of £1million sales in 2015/16 and £1.7 million in 2017. Most notably I have managed the company’s biggest event for the last 4 years, Microsoft’s Future Decoded, which involves the production and installation of 50 exhibition stands with individual project management for every exhibitor. I also oversaw the annual Amazon Web Services Summit where we designed / installed every stand at show including multiple large-scale custom builds.

-Provided a full turnkey service and managed the needs and communication with 50 exhibitors, in addition to the design and implementation of each exhibition stand.
-Created a custom online portal tailored to provide straightforward event management for exhibitors.
-Managing a team of project managers in the lead up to large-scale events.
-Sole responsibility for the company’s most high profile and valued clients.
-Developing client relationships into long-term business opportunities.
-Developing and identifying new sales opportunities.
-Preparing tenders and presentations.
-Confident at presenting to large senior groups.
-Negotiating and closing deals effectively.
-Managing client projects to agreed specifications including the co-ordination of internal and external resources in order to present a single point of contact to the client.

Enigma Creative Solutions – Account / Project Manager Oct 12 – May 13

Experienced, strong exhibition/event Account Manager capable of taking a project from inception through to final delivery and show opening, for high budget custom build exhibition stands.  Liaised and dealt with corporate clients, briefed and worked with 3D designers and graphic designers, as well as coordinated and handled all sub-contractors and suppliers that the project necessitated. 

Account Management:
-Ensured client projects were delivered on time and within budget.
-Sole account manager for IHS, one of the company’s most lucrative clients.
-Maintained regular client contact to ensure the client was kept fully abreast of project progress at all times. Included preparation for/attendance at client meetings and teleconferences.
-Maintained best practice in project management at all times by adhering to the principles of ‘initiate, plan, execute, control and close’.
-Maintained a project paper trail by ensuring all relevant project documentation was maintained and completed in line with company protocols: scope and briefing documents, financial reporting, planning and milestone documents, supplier briefing and performance measurement, debrief and closure documentation.
-Scheduled regular internal project meetings to ensure all stakeholders are fully aware of roles, responsibilities and deadlines within each project.
-Proactively maintained control over projects to ensure that scope and finance creep are anticipated and managed in order to maintain profit margins.
-Oversaw project support and on-site staff ensuring they were fully briefed, their work was checked and completed on time, to the standards expected by the company.
-Delivered and managed client projects onsite and undertaking travel where necessary.
-Participating in proposal planning, researching and writing as needed.
-All events worked on exceeded budgets of £100k.
