As a result of privatisation, Ausgrid embarked on a transformation which impacted its Learning
& Development function. I was responsible for expediting the transformation of transactional
Organisational Capability activities and devolution of tasks to the broader business, plus provide
coordination support to OD program deployment.
• Manage the analysis and documentation of new process and procedures following the transformation of the Organisational Capability team.
- Collaborating with business leaders and subject matter experts to design an
effective and relevant Standard Operating Procedure manual.
- Analysis of current Training Coordination processes to provide advisory on
how to improve process delivery (this included transitioning a number of processed into the people services team to centralize services).
• Manage the coordination of the Leadership Development Program. The LDP is an
Ausgrid wide development program for more than 500 people leaders.
- Coordination of a 3 module training programme. 70% of team leaders trained
over a period of 6 months.
• Responsible for Training Coordination for 2000+ Field Services staff in Plant & Equipment First Aid and Fire warden Training. Keeping accurate records of training
expenditure, training compliance requirements and producing reports.
• Supported the development of the skills matrix for 2000+ field services staff across 10+
depots to identify compliance and technical training required.
