Key Responsibilities:
As Social Media and Digital Manager I am the go-to person within the agency for any queries, insight, advice or strategy creation internally or for clients. I am now the most senior member of the Digital Team with a Social Media Executive who reports to me as a line manager. My role covers a number of responsibilities including:
• Working alongside the in-house studio to create bespoke paid and organic social media campaigns that compliment and promote the in-store activities being carried out by the experiential teams.
• Work with in-house web developer in the day to day management of the agency website. Making recommendations for visual updates, uploading new content and performing regular keywords analysis including SEO audits and website performance.
• Development of digital and social media strategies for clients and agency based on brief received, budgets and timelines to include campaign ideation, digital and social media placements, breakdown of paid budgets, execution and post campaign reporting including learnings and recommendations.
• Join internal and external meetings with teams, vendors or clients where a social media expert is required to share knowledge, campaign results or the value of social media and digital activities.
Key Achievements:
• Introduction of social media process for client work within agency. Establishing briefing, campaign execution and reporting process to ensure all work is delivering against brief and time is being used effectively to return on the investment.
• Proposed and got signed off for a paid social media strategy with Community management client. With a small budget social media accounts grew from an initial total following of 16k to 22k within six months, producing a Cost Per Follower of £0.59
• Adjusted ongoing social media activity with O2 so content was correctly optimised and relevant data being reported. As a result, social media awareness campaigns CPM dropped from roughly £5-8 to £0.90-1.80. Lowest seen in the agency's history with client.
