within fashion design including graphics. My experience of working for various fashion retailers has allowed me to develop an in-depth
understanding of the fashion and creative industries; a knowledge I am continuing to develop as I progress within my career.
I am a proven self-starter with a can-do attitude and very much a forward-thinker. I actively take on new challenges with enthusiasm and I always strive

. Working alongside Product Manager and Senior Designer to help
design and develop new fashion ranges for both wholesale and license
customers including Next, River Island, Primark and TK Maxx.
. Carry out constant trend research and create mood boards to present back to the team.
Demonstrate ability to adapt current trend and new ideas into commercial designs. This includes shape, colour, fabric and print techniques.
. Good understanding of the various customers which need to be considered for each range. Ensuring designs are right for each retailer

. Attend design meetings for different retailers with the Product Manager and Senior Designer.
Take accurate notes to ensure the design brief is clear and correct.
. Prepare the show room for retail meetings with various wholesale and license customers.
Ensure product is styled in an exciting and aesthetically pleasing way to entice the customer.
.Communicate with key buyers from each retailer to understand launch dates and seasonality.
Use this information when designing ranges to ensure the product included is right for the timing.
. Understand the product development process and garment make up to be able to create designs that meet the customer needs and are achievable with the current supply base.
. Build and complete tech packs that are detailed and accurate for suppliers to follow.
Ensure these are sent in a timely manner.
. Keep in constant communication with buyers to ensure key dates and deadlines are met.
. Assist on photoshoots when needed. Pulling clothing and styling
models for social media and website shoots.
.Managing workload efficiently and being able to prioritise in order to maintain deadlines and help others in the team when workload is high.
