Senior Project manager responsible for delivery of integrated smartcard ticketing technology for TfN. Key projects of note are the successful rollout of multi operational card on National Rail stations, bus operator facilities and tram operations across the North of England. This system uses back office provision to numerous operators both large and SME. In my current role, I am responsible for a multidisciplinary team delivering: the software development required to support distance based contactless payments on TfN's readers and back office system, the introduction of a mobile contactless payment device, and an Operational Support System to monitor and manage the operational performance of the ticketing system. This system had to be compliant with the latest GDPR requirements and take in to consideration PCI-DSS. This includes managing a team to ensure data transaction system compliance when transferring moneys from a bank card to a corporate body.

This was a new station build for the local community of Low Moor near Bradford that offers them a direct rail link to Halifax, Bradford and beyond. This project had complex stakeholder management with WYCA (West Yorkshire Combined Authority), Bradford City Council, Northern Rail (TOC), Grand Central trains and Network Rail.
As a part of this project we were tasked to engage a design house (Mott Macdonald) to develop GRIP 4 and 5 design including buildability and value engineering within design. All IDR and IDC output were achieved on programme through close collaboration with the Network Rail DPRE and Project Engineers).
The station comprised of 2 cross plank platforms, full DDA compliance (Lifts, Ramp, Fire strategy & access and egress), and telecoms in the form of CIS, CCTV, EVA, PIDs, NITs and LLPA all with local recording. It also had E&P requirements in the form of a substation and a further DNO with electrical provision to the station and the car park.
The car park was a new build with provision for parking of 165 cars including disabled parking.
Worked as CRE design for Civils (Station build and car park) and P-Way (minor alignment).
These works were through GRIP stages 3 to 8.
Buckingham Group - Todmorden West Curve Project. (Nov 14 to Dec 16)
Senior Project Manager.
Senior Project Manager in-charge of the Todmorden curve multi discipline project. This
project is jointly funded by Burnley Borough Council and Network Rail to enhance
employment opportunity for the community of Burnley by travelling in a more expedient
manner to Manchester.
The disciplines encompassed are as tabulated below:

Buckingham Group - Allerton Train Maintenance Depot. (Nov 14 to Dec 16) Senior Project Manager.
Upgrade works at Allerton TMD includes design, installation, commissioning and handover services for the following includes work on P-way, E&P systems, signalling systems, civil from light to medium works and OLE works within the depot and main lines. This has been awarded to allow the receipt and operation of the new class 319 EMU fleet in to the Northern Rail operating fleet.
A brief breakdown of each discipline is as follows:
P-Way - Track plain lining and extensions to the sidings and the headshunt allowing divorced operation of the siding from the signaller under local control of the depot.
Signalling - To allow local operation of the above.
E&P / M&E - Power upgrade including the installation of a 120mm feed from the WCML slow line to the depot, installation of a new CET (Control Emission Toilet (CET) system for the emptying and cleaning of the new units, new walkway lighting and depot lighting, removal of 2 x 35metre lighting towers, power upgrade for the depot and CMS installation to support these new requirements.
Civils - To support the above including new OLE bases, new plant bases, new walkways and the formation of the CET requirement.
OLE - The OLE upgrades included the installation of new section isolators, the installation of new wire and mains steels. The installation of anchors and the panning and commissioning of said works.
