job
PR & Social Content Executive
Bibby Financial Services.
Refining and improving external communications strategy
Liaising with local and global teams for press or social content development
Managing PR and design agencies for content curation and design requirements
My remit at Bibby Financial Services involved developing external communications infrastructure and volume through
press coverage and social media content.
The PR aspects of the role involved a variety of press related tasks, ranging from client profiling to editorial submissions.
Case study work on client success stories drove both commercial and editorial value, with successful features being pub-
lished in publications such as The Daily Mail, City AM and This is Money. Additionally, I assisted in the development of our quarterly and annual thought leadership reports, of which would form the basis for global press coverage.
The social content aspect part of the role involved growing the BFS online communities around the world. I also worked
alongside the marketing team to run five-figure campaign spends on social networks such as LinkedIn and Facebook. I'd
also regimented the types of content that were to be used for each network and running social media campaigns for the first time in BFS's history.
One such campaign received 340 user submitted posts in the space of 24 hours, gaining a global unique reach of over
300,000 users.
As well as social networks, content development and blogs, I've also been trained in using CMS systems and regularly
create website content as part of our external communication, website and SEO strategy. As a result, I can create
Sitecore and Wordpress sites from scratch.

job
Content & Social Media Executive
Crown Partnership.
Creating new and intuitive content that engages and increases brand awareness
Writing press releases for companies within the Partnership involving large contract wins and historic successes.
Formulating social strategies and analysing results in order to build a growing online presence
My key goals at Crown Partnership were to reform the brand voice into an engaging digital platform and continue the group's industry leading presence online in the form of media articles, social media posts and blog content. I have both
created and developed a host of social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Quora, G+ and YouTube for sub-
sidiary companies across the Partnership and have nurtured them into successful entities. A social media profile for one of these subsidiary companies recently experienced a viewership of 65,000+ users within the space of 24 hours as a
result of timely, creative and engaging content. This particular incident resulted in a surge in brand awareness and direct
conversions.
As well as expanding Crown's social sphere, I conversed with press and media contacts in the events & catering industry to ensure that our internal successes were covered on a national scale. This involved creating releases for the press that
involved new contract wins, growth in sales and interesting facts and figures within the conglomerate. A notable press
release I had created involved the win of a £15m contract with London Luton Airport, an article that was published in many leading catering industry magazines. I've also aided the group with regards to SEO, integrating and optimising
content on subsidiary blog sites and introducing new incentives such as the star rating to improve click-through rates. I
have also been involved in email marketing at Crown, mailing out to databases of up to 27,000 users on multiple
occasions each month.

Social Media & Marketing Assistant
Wooshii.
Using social media to reconnect with a large and disengaged audience
Working in the marketing team to develop new business
Copywriting for the release of the new product
Using a variety of methods and techniques, I have utilised social media to both reach out to new audiences and reengage the pre-existing social following. Running both paid and organic campaigns, the company has been successful on social
media. A notable improvement has been on the Instagram network, where I had built the social following from scratch to
1400 highly targeted users within a limited time period. I had also worked on SEO strategy for the blog site that had lead
to my optimisations bringing in 100% MoM traffic. In addition to improving the company's own social media, I was also the manager of the Life Technologies (Thermofisher) YouTube channel as well as advising on paid social strategy with four-figure
budget spends. This involved managing and uploading content as well as reporting on key analytics for the company.
As a member of the marketing team, I was predominantly focused on email marketing and new business outreach, being
one of two members of the marketing team that was responsible for £52,000+ worth of new business each month. This also
involved managing and resourcing multiple freelancers on a frequent basis to undertake tasks. I am fluent in using CRM
systems such as Zoho or Salesforce and mail-out systems like ToutApp and had used these interfaces daily as part of the email marketing strategy.
