I'm offering
I am a qualified Modern Language teacher with a Post Graduate diploma in Education. For the past 5 years I worked as a French and Italian teacher at secondary level in London. I studied translation at university and own a Masters degree in Translation and Interpreting (with honours) and I am a proficient user and advanced speaker of English (C1), French (C1) and Italian (native). After several years working as secondary school teacher, I would like to change career path in order to seek a job in the translation and interpreting sector where I could put my linguistic skills and communication capabilities to use.
Although I have been working primarily as a teacher, this job made me develop many transferable skills such as, my multi-lingual communication skills, the ability to keep calm in stressful situations and to cope well in highly pressured environments, where it is crucial to meet deadlines and expectations.
I am consistently very well-organised, responsible and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
I am available for translation and proofreading jobs from English/French into Italian and vice-versa.

job
Group Leader
Education First, Via Borgogna.
Every summer for the last four years I worked as a group leader and took responsibility for a group of Italian secondary school students during a Summer Camp and English language course in the USA. Every year I led a different group of students in a different destination and took part in the organisation of after-school activities and day trips to local tourist attractions. I worked as a mediator between international students and American host-families and teachers in order to meet students’ needs and address their problems. As a translator, I helped my students interact with other students and teachers, relate to the local community and immerse in the American culture.
