Due to datacentre closures in Italy, a number of clients were migrated\transformed from Italy to France Virtual
Private Cloud. Some of the key accounts included Bank of Italy and AC Milan football club. A Discovery, Design and Deploy approach was implemented on all the accounts using the Agile Delivery Framework. This included
evaluating the current workload, collating requirements to designing a solution on how to migrate all servers, data and network. Stakeholders approved proposed solutions which allowed successful deployment.
Responsibilities
• Managed end to end datacentre migrations for a number of Italian accounts.
• Migrated servers and data using VPN tunnels (Virtual Private Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage)
and 3PAR. Managed the installation of MPLS networks / VPN Tunnels across the hosted sites.
• Ensured project risks were identified and mitigated effectively.
• Engaged with Stakeholders regularly to ensure project transparency. This allowed Stakeholders to participate throughout the project ensuring things were right the first time and assured confidence.
• Managed a migration of 160TB of data for the Bank of Italy within a given outage window using a lift
and shift method using 3PAR storage.
• Worked closely with technical teams daily to ensure targets and results were achieved.
• Regularly managed Stakeholder and Technical meetings as well producing status management
reports.
• Managed migration days from start to end with all technical teams. Initiated decommission process for
redundant assets.

Successfully programme managed a number of BPs Upstream projects which consisted of two high key profile North
Sea projects, Azerbaijan, Flotel and Telecoms projects. One of the North Sea projects was Clair Ridge which is a
£300million two year appraisal drilling programme, one of the biggest BP has ever undertaken in the North Sea. The
other project was Q204 Schiehallion which is the £3billion redevelopment and is one of the most complex
engineering challenges BP and its partners have ever undertaken. The Azerbaijan projects covered the expansion of the gas pipeline.
Responsibilities
• Managed and supported 10+ Project Managers all working on numerous projects simultaneously.
• Held 121 weekly review meetings and covered project RAG statuses, budgets, resourcing, risks and issues.
• Produced monthly status reports for stakeholders and held monthly review meetings. This kept the stakeholders well informed on what had been completed on the deliverables, what needed to be done, what
the next stage was and what risks and issues. SLAs and KPI data were also produced within these reports.
• Dealt with risks and issues the Project Managers raised for their projects on a daily basis.
• Monitored and tracked the Project Managers were following BP protocols at all times to maintain the smooth
running of the projects and to ensure the Stakeholders requirements were met.
• Held weekly team meetings with Project Managers and project resources.
• Acted as the single point of contact for all project services that were delivered to the client
• Managed client communications and expectations around all risks/issues and ensured that these were
maintained, reviewed and reported according to PMO processes.
