I am the first point if contact for callers where I answer any questions, am sympathetic to the caller problems, I am able to remain calm and professional and usually manage to sort out angry customers. All of the calls are greeted politely and happily, before putting them through to different clients or details made a note if and escalated if necessary. I also take payments on Credit/Debit/MasterCards. (No card details are ever kept, GDPR certified). All calls are logged onto a "dashboard" and sent through to the appropriate client. Self-Employed Property Lettings Manager and Administrator for a Property Management Company, working remotely.
I am the first point of contact for all the tenants, (150+), in case of any problems, like repairs/maintenance required, payment problems, other tenant problems, etc., and have managed to keep everyone happy. This include credit control, chasing late payers.
I arrange the viewings on a daily basis, so excellent diary management skills.
I have also negotiated and secured new properties, for house share and corporate lettings. I have filled rooms with new tenants on AST contracts, both Straight Through and Break Clauses, for HMO, Short term and long term lets and I am responsible for the referencing of the tenants. I raised the contracts, arranged Check Ins/Outs, Inventories and cleaners.
Experienced in using Spareroom, Zoopla, Gumtree and Upad, Airbnb and Social Media etc., to advertise the properties and speak to the potential tenants to gain information and book viewings.
This has never been a 9-5 position, more like 24/7 and I have always liked the variety and working extra and odd hours including weekends and holidays, has never been a problem for me.
I have also been involved in holiday bookings using booking.com, eviivo, Airbnb, Hotel.com, etc.
