I have recently completed a degree in Journalism and Creative Writing at De Montfort University, Leicester before graduating with a 2:1 and I am currently working part time as a Customer Assistant for the Co-operative in Greater Manchester. Throughout my years in education, I have had a strong passion for writing and have thoroughly enjoyed developing my skills and widening my knowledge within the area at university.
Whilst studying for my degree, I was able to plan, organise and co-ordinate multiple projects to a high standard. I produced SEO focused news articles and features and delivered polished and professional pieces including newspapers made in Adobe InDesign and video projects made using Windows Movie Maker. During the final year of my degree, I also went on to write, edit and design an entertainment magazine as part of a team under tight deadlines as I took leadership and kept a positive attitude throughout whilst working well under pressure. -
