Leading on all training, management coaching and graduate development:
• Identify, promote and implement learning and development strategy and needs across the organisation;
Ongoing monitoring and review of overall learning strategy and individual programmes and amending these
for improvement if needed.
• Develop and manage the PDR process and associated activities, such as appraisals training, promoting their
use, record keeping, identify specific training needs and the annual training plan for the organisation.
• Coordinate and manage mandatory training requirements across the organisation; design both in-house and with expert third parties solutions which might include blended approaches to learning such as coaching,
classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, e-learning.
• Liaise with external training providers, managing internal delegate lists, organising internal venues and acting as a facilitator etc.
• Devise new and innovative ways of learning through the digital arena, with the vision of bringing in a wide
range of digital learning methods.
• Work proactively with the HR team, Directors and Project managers across sites and look at Talent, ensuring
high performers are given the training and development needed to stay engaged and to enable them to move
around the large business.
• Track budgets and negotiate contracts; financially manage and maximise government funded grant training
schemes including CITB apprenticeship grants and apprenticeship levy.
• Manage the Apprenticeship Levy and identify higher apprenticeships suitable to Ardmore employee

Key achievements:
• Implemented a Learning Management Systems (LMS) within Ardmore and a library of 300 courses for all the company's employees;
• Implemented various learning methods companywide (e.g. mentoring & coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
• Designed with expert third parties and introduced tailored Management programmes for all management levels
• Introduced professional membership programmes (CIOB, RICS, ICE) and Higher and Degree apprenticeships.
• Redesigned and successfully implemented the Ardmore graduate programmes and linked them to CIOB and ICE
requirements.
• Redesigned and implemented the Ardmore induction process.
• Launched the Ardmore Academy to create an internal brand to flagship the company's learning and development
portfolio. The Ardmore Academy brings together all of the current training provision under a single umbrella to offer a wide range of skills and professional qualifications.
