I am currently employed as a health and safety manager for the Specialist contracting services
(SCS) to offer support on safety matters on the Chelsea barracks project. At present I am
overseeing the safety matters for the Structures business unit. My role entails the provision of
safety advice for all the Chelsea project and any duties allocated to me at the discretion of the company. I work closely with the project team in helping them comply with current legislation and policies. I conduct a safety report for every week which are circulated to clients and senior
management for review. I also attend safety meetings regularly as and when required. My
additional role as a health and safety manager is to help assist the site teams with any accident and investigation processes that need to be implemented and to assist with any safety
behavioral training to site operatives. I am a point of contact mental health first aider for the
business as well.
